About this event

Eight countries. Three graves. One decision. A woman who kept building. How do you begin again when you can barely recognise the life that remains? After 20 years serving with UNHCR, Vivianne Dawalibi rebuilt her life in Australia. Then, in just over three years, she lost her mother, her father and her husband. What followed was a journey through grief, identity and the courage to build again. On 16 October, step inside a story she has spent 70 years living — and consider what it could reveal about your own. Experience live storytelling, a 13-panel Legacy Walk exhibition, The Unbroken Thread short film, and book signing. Whether you are navigating change, leading a team or supporting a community, this is an invitation to r eflect, connect and recognise the capability you already carry. You did not survive this far to stay small. What You Will Leave With A fresh perspective on your own story and the capability you already carry. Through storytelling, reflection and connection, you will have space to recognise what your experience has taught you, what you can contribute, and what you want to carry forward. Your story is not over. There is still something only you can bring. This Event Is For You If: ✅ You have felt unseen or struggled to find where you belong. ✅ You have rebuilt after loss — or are rebuilding now. ✅ You want to bring your lived experience into your leadership, work or community. ✅ You lead a team, business or community programme and want to explore how storytelling can build confidence, connection and participation. ✅ You are ready to take a meaningful step towards your next chapter.
